What are Second Chance products?

You may have already seen them on our webshop or in the daily deals: our Second Chance products such as renewed and refurbished. But what exactly does that mean?

As the name suggests, Second Chance products are no longer brand new. Still, they are perfectly good items that deserve a second life. Each Second Chance product is thoroughly checked by us for flaws or defects. For example, there might be some leftover promotional material on the casing or a small scratch that occurred when the product was used as a demo in a store. Normally, these slightly damaged items would be returned to the supplier, but we offer them instead at the sharpest possible price. So expect a minor sign of use, but also the very best deals. Quality always comes first, which means you are guaranteed to receive a fully working product.

What is renewed?

-RN in the SKU
Products in 100% like-new condition in appearance, but due to age or packaging cannot be sold as new
No signs of use
1 year warranty, extension only possible on notebooks

What is refurbished?

Products that, due to age, packaging or signs of use, can no longer be sold as new
Divided into three grades: Refurbished Gold, Refurbished Silver and Refurbished Bronze
3 months to 1 year warranty, without extension. Apple products such as iPad and iPhone come with 3 months warranty as standard
