The UD85 offers a fast and smooth experience with read speeds of up to 3,600 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2,800 MB/s. It achieves enhanced performance in sequential read/write and random read/write with support for SLC caching.
The UD85 makes upgrading from PCIe Gen 3 to Gen 4 easy. It is also backward compatible with Gen 3 for more cross-system flexibility. And thanks to its M.2 2280 form factor, it can easily integrate into designs with M.2 slots.
With 3D NAND flash technology, the UD85 includes multiple layers of vertically stacked memory cells to overcome the density limitations of its single-layer 2D counterpart and achieve larger capacities. A reduced distance between memory cells also results in lower latency and higher performance.
