The EAP772 utilizes cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) technology, operating on the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands. This enables combined wireless speeds of up to 9214 Mbps, with 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2880 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 5760 Mbps on 6 GHz. Equipped with a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, the EAP772 ensures a fast and stable wired connection, fully leveraging Wi-Fi 7’s potential. Supporting over 380 simultaneous wireless clients and covering an area of up to 140 m², this access point is ideal for busy environments such as offices, schools, and retail stores.

The EAP772 features Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4K-QAM, MU-MIMO, 320 MHz channel width (EHT320), BSS Coloring, and OFDMA, all of which contribute to improved network performance and efficiency. WPA3 support enhances security, while features such as Captive Portal Authentication, access control, VLAN support, and Rogue AP detection help safeguard the network from unauthorized access.

The EAP772 is compatible with Omada SDN (Software Defined Networking) and can be centrally managed via the Omada Cloud-Based Controller, hardware controllers (OC300 and OC200), or the Omada Software Controller. Installation is simplified with the included ceiling and wall mounting kits.

The interface includes a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port and a reset button. Power is supplied via 802.3at PoE or 12V/2.5A DC, with maximum power consumption of 24.05 W (PoE) and 20.92 W (DC). The dimensions are 220 × 220 × 32.5 mm. Antennas include two 4.0 dBi antennas for 2.4 GHz, two 5.0 dBi antennas for 5 GHz, and two 5.0 dBi antennas for 6 GHz. Additionally, there is a Bluetooth 5.2 antenna with 4.0 dBi gain.

The wireless coverage spans 140 m² and supports more than 380 simultaneous wireless clients. Supported wireless standards include IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, operating on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands. Transmission speeds reach 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2880 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 5760 Mbps on 6 GHz. Advanced features such as MLO, 4K-QAM, MU-MIMO, EHT320, Mesh, BSS Coloring, OFDMA, Load Balance, Band Steering, Beamforming, Airtime Fairness, multiple SSIDs (24 in total, 8 per band), wireless scheduling, restart scheduling, QoS (WMM), speed limiting, static/dynamic IP, and RADIUS accounting optimize performance and efficiency.

Wireless security includes Captive Portal Authentication, access control, up to 4000 MAC filters, client-to-client wireless isolation, VLAN, Rogue AP detection, and WPA-Personal/Enterprise, WPA2-Personal/Enterprise, and WPA3-Personal/Enterprise. Transmission power is below 20 dBm on 2.4 GHz (EIRP), below 23 dBm on 5 GHz bands 1 & 2 (EIRP), below 28 dBm on 5 GHz band 3 (EIRP), and below 23 dBm on 6 GHz (EIRP).

Management options include the Omada App, centralized management via Omada Cloud-Based Controller, Omada Hardware Controller (OC300/OC200), or Omada Software Controller. Cloud access is available when using an OC300, OC200, Omada Software Controller, or Omada Cloud-Based Controller. Additional management features include email notifications, LED on/off control, Management MAC access control, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and local/remote system log management.

The EAP772 is CE, FCC, RoHS, and IC certified and comes with an installation guide and ceiling/wall mounting kit (power adapter not included). The operating temperature ranges from 0 °C to 40 °C, while the storage temperature ranges from -40 °C to 70 °C. The operating humidity is 10%–90% non-condensing, and storage humidity is 5%–90% non-condensing.
